Do more with badges.
It's a neat idea. I'd like to see other people's badges and for people to be able to see mine.

Add iCalendar data export support
It'd be nice to be able to access future convention information in a calendar data format, so that this information can be carried on portable devices or pulled into software like Google Calendar for planning. Maybe even filtered by geographical area. iCalendar format would probably be the most universal and easily exportable.
2 votesWe already have iCalendar support. It’s not widely publicized, but was covered in one of our podcast episodes.
The file is here: http://animecons.com/events/ical/animecons.ics
There’s also a FanCons.com version here: http://fancons.com/events/ical/fancons.ics -

Updates/Additions and Updates page
Would it be possible to list on each convention page when the entry was last updated or extend/archive the Additions and Updates page?
1 voteYou can now see the last time a convention’s information was updated in small print at the bottom of the page. (The date will not display for conventions that haven’t been updated in a couple years. …because nobody cares when we last updated stuff like the Otakon 2001 or Anime Expo 1999 page.)

Rss Feeds to AnimeCon an Fancon websites
Do you offer RSS feeds or any type of feeds that would allow me to display past and present conventions on my website?
I know you offer the RSS feeds for the YouTube TV channels but do you also offer feeds for just the raw data that would contain the convention name, location, and date? Thanks!!
1 voteWe have .ics (iCalendar) feeds of events. RSS is best for news and articles, but ICS format works best for calendar events (like conventions). They are at http://fancons.com/events/ical/fancons.ics and http://animecons.com/events/ical/animecons.ics The files can be imported into various calendar programs.
We limit the conventions in that to just the current year.

J-Popcon Denmark
Hello FanCons,
There is this convention in Denmark that you should add to your list.
It's called J-Popcon and it's about Japanese popular culture.
Thanks in advance

Locations
You should go to England more often. More are likely to spend as there is a lacl of places there
1 voteWe’d love to physically go to England, but flights from the US aren’t cheap. Hopefully someday. However, we do list UK conventions here: http://animecons.com/events/calendar.shtml/006800799
